lost and found - a bucket list

I found this checked off list at the grocery store in among the bags of sugar. Not a grocery list but a to-do list for a week at the seaside? Including a funeral and making waffles with grandpa. (wonder why crabs were crossed off?) Sweet.

The flipside shows it is an old card from a library card catalog. I miss those. Don't you?

Great list. Clam digging, that's something I haven't done in forever and used to do all the time with my Dad.....library cards, yes, used to be so helpful in choosing the right books. xox

stumbling on someone unknown persons' history is such a spark to the imagination...I wonder what center was being thought of with "interpret center" and where was that "shark store", and why "go carts"...fascinating.

What a great find. A slice of someone's life that was touched by you, without even knowing it. So many images conjured up from this list alone.

I miss those cards, too, now that computers have taken over and made the journey so fast and easy.

Sorry I'm late getting here since I've found myself coming and going. I was delighted to read you are safe with your family. No wonder you have such a gorgeous and lush garden each year.

This makes my heart warm. One of my daughter's likes to make lists too. They earnestness and the excitement for this one while making the list. Then the joy in checking off the items. Okay, maybe not so much joy in the checking off the funeral one. I wonder if maybe it was a funeral for a pet...

WOW what a list that is...thought provoking and not lost at all with someone thoughtful and sensitive like you to rescue it...the library side has real charms of its own too!

Super find! I miss card catalogs. I do have a drawer from one...sadly it came with no cards. I use it as display for greeting cards at craft shows.

I did an art class with some of my co-workers and asked them to bring a found item to incorporate into art and they didn't get it - this is the perfect thing! What fun.
